Make up

I love getting new makeup. I get a high from replacing my mascara, to shopping for new lipgloss. Even getting my free lipstick from MAC is great, though i feel as if i have to buy something when i do that. Sephora is candyland for me. I'll be in there for hours. Ill be shopping for a tinted moisturizer and bronzer soon, this summer seems like its gonna be super hot by the looks of this past weekend! i dont like to wear much makeup so the tinted moisturizer with spf will be my savior, i get freckles in the summer lol!

Cheesecake-A-No-No

I went to dinner with old high school girlfriends last week to the Cheesecake Factory. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Costolleta- a good version of the parmesan crusted chicken dish from BJ's. The mashed potatoes and chicken were delicious. Then I decided to try my comadres chicken madeira, it was covered in mushrooms with sauce. Very tasty. Then after 2 pomegranate margaritas, i got hot. my blood rose, then i was sweaty, I excused myself to the restroom. There were only 2 stalls available one that was dirty and the other that was closed. My hand made it to flush the contents of the dirty one, then the vomit burst out of my insides. OMG! my $50 dollar dinner literally down the drain. I did not get any on me, but i was not ok.
I went back to our table and i told the girls what happened, but they were busy talking about their pre-wedding retreats, blah. blah blah. I called Juan to come get me, but he told me that they would leave soon, well my comadre can talk and if its about high school , she was on a roll. Seriously if i didnt feel like i was gonna go again, i would not have minded, but i was flushed.
On the way home, my face was out the window concentrating not to damage the new SUV i was riding in. As soon as i got home, i undressed so fast, leaving a trail of clothes behind me, and yacked again. I mean this was one way from beneath my guts. I took a shower and went to sleep praying this wasnt food poisoning or stomach flu.
I made it to work the next day, and it was not til today that i noticed, i had been taking antibiotics and the label said: take with food, absolutely no alcohol beverages. I know it was the mixture of the meds and the mushrooms with sauce. I always try new things but cooked mushrooms dont sit well with me, pero ay voy!

Oh whatever, im still upset because i was good and only had eaten half of my big size portion dinner and i gave it to my comadre because i couldnt smell food as i was getting dropped off.

AND the pomegranate margaritas were just syrup and ice= raspados!

I need a dinner raincheck.

Funky Perfume

What is that smell! it burns my nose, makes me nauseous! This lady in our lab wears unbearable perfume, mixed with lysol spray from the bathroom can cause upset stomach! I want to ask her what it is, so i know the name, but then will that encourage her to wear it. I cant tell her it wreaks, she wears it daily!

I know every perfume smells different on people, and thats why it takes me forever to settle on one that is chemically balanced for me.

Smells i dislike ever since i was pregnant: Victoria's Secret Pear lotion- reminds me of refried beans- odd, but i cant wear it and wont buy it for anybody so i wont have to smell it.

Mushrooms in red wine sauce- will make me hurl!
